French 19th Century Green-Glazed Terracotta Pot from Apt
It’s true that we have a thing for green-glazed 19th Century pots, and this one from Apt in the South of France is a beauty. One of three that we currently have in stock (see CPO #1045 and CPO #1036), it is glazed in an ochre color on the inside and has a small drain hole in the bottom. In excellent overall antique condition, it does have some missing spots to the exterior glaze, and some minor chipping to the rim, but nothing that detracts from its beauty or functionality. Pot it up with a colorful arrangement of annuals or a small topiary with dripping vines cascading down the sides or use in a grouping on your front porch. This pot will be fine left outside year-round in mild temperatures, but please do empty it and cover or bring inside in harsh winter climates.
