Pair of Tall French Wrought Iron Candelabra with Leaf Motif

Pair of Tall French Wrought Iron Candelabra with Leaf Motif

These leaf-motif candelabra are simply stunning. In an old rusty surface with traces of gilding on some leaves, they would be magnificent converted into standing lamps with large cylindrical shades. Their detail is exceptional and their presence commanding. The prickets in the middle of the leaves can accept fat candles and the top could also be cut and prickets installed for a dominating pair of candle-lit pieces in any large room.

French Standing Oak Candelabrum

French Standing Oak Candelabrum

This remarkable hand-turned, carved, and pegged oak candelabrum has been stripped of its old paint to reveal a wonderful patina reminiscent of limed oak. The 13 hand-whittled candle prickets are fully functional. This piece makes a bold architectural statement and mixes wonderfully with spare contemporary steel and glass furnishings, as well as with more traditional looks. A very old repair to the trifid base that came apart during shipping has now been re-pegged and securely glued for a barely visible repair.
