Large, Flared Round Pot with Superb Patina
When we originally saw this pot, we were sure it was carved stone because of its superb patina, but, upon further examination, it is made of fiber cement, a lightweight and very durable material that can be left outside year-round in all climates. Its gorgeous flared form is a stand-out and imagine it as a piece of sculpture inside (perhaps as an umbrella holder) or outside in your garden or on your porch. We believe it to have been made by Eternit and this form is often attributed to Willy Guhl, but we are not sure it is an original Guhl design. In perfect structural condition, it does have a scrape to the patina, but this will weather over in no time at all, should you keep it outside.
