Three Large Ribbed Eternit Planters Designed by Willy Guhl

Three Large Ribbed Eternit Planters Designed by Willy Guhl

These ribbed planters with integral handles on two sides were designed by the iconic Willy Guhl and produced by Eternit of Switzerland in three sizes. These are the largest ones ever made. In outstanding structural condition, they feature beautiful weathering and lots of yellow-orange lichen on the interior. Large enough to hold small topiary, they would be stunning flanking the doorway to your contemporary home or garden, alone or in combination with some of the identical form, but medium-sized, ribbed planters (we currently have 3 for sale in naturally-weathered surface (Stock # CPL 1168) and a pair for sale in fabulous red and white painted surface (Stock # CPL 1157, See last two photos). Made of fiber cement, a lightweight and very durable material, they may be left outside year-round in all weather, but we do recommend emptying them in harsh climates and covering them or turning them upside-down. Priced and sold individually.
