Four French Wrought Iron Balls from Wine Barrel Hoops
We bought these whimsical wine barrel hoop balls in the South of France and thought they would be wonderful as decorative items in the garden or wine cellar, as forms for topiary, or as chandeliers, wired up with small white lights.
Two are a pair and measure 14" diameter, while the two larger ones measure 25" diameter and 27.5" diameter, respectively. The two smaller ones are rusted wrought iron and date to the 19th C, as is the 25" diameter one. The largest one (also late 19th C) has been painted with silver and red paint in parts, but this can easily be spray painted if you do not like the surface. All are hand riveted.
