Pair of Tall French Terracotta Rooftop Finials
These tall 19th C finials originally adorned the rooftop of an important house in LeMans, France, and sport an enviable weathered surface and fleur-de-lys decoration. In wonderful condition, the finials are mortared to their bases that originally fit on the ends of a roofline. Some of the mortar on one has become dislodged over time, so they can either be removed from their bases or re-mortared at no additional cost. No breaks or repairs, which is quite remarkable considering their age. Wonderful flanking an entrance or atop a stone wall.
