Near-Pair of English Cast Stone Pulham-Style Urns on Plinths
This classic urn form first appeared in the designs of James Pulham of Broxbourne, England who became quite famous for his terracotta garden wares in the 19th C. Period Pulham urns fetch upwards of $15,000 a pair nowadays, but we love these 20th C cast stone ones almost as much, and particularly at this price. Superb weathering with lots of lichen belies their true age and they are in perfect condition. We are selling them with a pair of conforming English cast stone plinths that suits the urns perfectly in terms of color, size, and style. Please note that although the dimensions on these urns are the same, the feet are slightly different. The planting wells are huge and, filled with a luxurious arrangement of verbena and cascading vines, no one but you will be the wiser! Overall height with plinths is 34". Plinths measure 12" square x 17" hi.
