Colorful French Glazed Terracotta Confit Pot
This lovely and rather large early glazed terracotta confit pot was originally used to store duck legs preserved in fat, a culinary staple of the French countryside. This one has had a repair to the body and some of the glazing has flaked off, but it is lovely nonetheless and would make a beautiful accent piece in your French Country kitchen. France, CA 1840.
