Set of Six Beech Louis XIII-Style Os de Mouton Dining Chairs
This set of six Os de Mouton chairs is all handmade from beech and dates to the late 19th C. With very desirable "Chapiteau du Gendarme" arched tops, the beech legs have been stripped and waxed to achieve a warm, pale color that is beautiful with their new French linen upholstery. We have another, nearly identical, set of six (stock #FCH 1026) and are selling the two sets individually, but the 12 chairs would look fabulous all together at a grand refectory table.
