Pair of English Carved Stone Tazza Urns
This pair of hand-carved rustic Yorkstone urns features unusual semi-lobed bowls that are a cross between tazza and campana forms. With faint traces of old green paint, they would make a wonderful addition to your informal country garden and will withstand Northeastern winters if emptied of soil. Fill with cascading shallow-rooted plants like Dragonsblood Sedum for an outstanding display. Very weathered patina commensurate with age; a few very minor chips/flakes to the rims; otherwise no breaks, cracks, repairs or missing bits. We believe the risers were replaced in the late 19th/early 20th C.
England, CA 1820.
