Set of Sixteen French Cast Iron 19th Century Bollards with Original Chains
Most homes and gardens have a spot that needs to be cordoned off to prevent unwanted access and these fabulous bollards will do it in style! When we bought them, they had no way of being stabilized in an upright position, so we had custom, heavy-duty pointed stakes about 14” high welded to the bottom of each bollard so they are easily inserted into the ground and stay where you put them…no concrete footing needed. Each bollard is separated by a removable chain that hook onto connectors on the bollards. There are 15 chains, of which 12 measure 36 inches in length and 3 of which measure 32 inches in length, but when you’ve installed them, only will a trained and critical eye see the difference, as it is very slight. The bollards and chain retain their original silver paint and have a small amount of surface rusting, commensurate with age and wear, but they can always be repainted if you like.
