A One-Off Wrought Iron Armillary Sphere with Counterbalancing Weight Pan, English, CA 1930
This armillary is intended to move up and down according to the Seasons, when the now-missing pan weights were added or subtracted. To raise the armillary, we often place an exhuberantly-planted flower pot on the pan.
