Hand-Sculpted Terracotta Lion on Yorkstone Base

What a fabulous lion! Recently stripped of over 100 years of paint, he retains slight traces of red, green and blue that only add more interest to the surface. Attached to its original carved Yorkstone plinth, he has a few body chips and knocks, but is a great piece to sit on a step or beside a door.
